Those ear plugs, or blugs, were a great big pain in the ass. Because I had those stupid tubes for four or five years, I had to avoid getting my ears wet. I hated those plugs so much, I didn't learn how to swim until I was 12.

It's nice to see that even at an early age I was not a xenophobe.
